I had the pleasure of staying at K'S House Ito Onsen - Historical Ryokan Hostel, a remarkable gem nestled along the picturesque Matsukawa River. This beautifully preserved, century-old Ryokan provided us with a truly authentic Japanese experience, complete with tatami floors and the joy of making our own futon beds-a charming custom that deepens one's connection to Japanese culture. The on-site hot-spring baths were a highlight for our group, especially the option of a private soak that offered a moment of serenity amidst our explorations. Conveniently located within walking distance from the JR Ito Train Station, we enjoyed the ease of accessing nearby attractions like Nagisa Park and the vibrant local cafes and restaurants. the fully equipped shared kitchen inspired us to cook fresh meals, utilizing local ingredients, which was a delightful way to bond with my travel companions after our exciting day trips in this stunning region. K'S House captures the essence of Japan's cultural heritage while providing modern comforts-an ideal retreat for nature lovers and travelers alike.
